State Fair On The Way!

Some cool weather arriving  in the area is the perfect way to usher in another State Fair of Louisiana, the 117th, to be exact.  It’s another one of the big entertainment bonuses we get to enjoy as residents, plus welcomes in many more folks from all over.  This year the fun begins Rocktober 26, and rolls through November 12, closed Mondays & Tuesdays. If you’re a regular attendee, you already know it’s the real deal as far as State Fairs go.  If you plan to check it out for the first time, you won’t be disappointed!  It’s packed with everything from free concerts and entertainment, one of the most massive carnival midways in the country and food.  Food, food and more glorious fair food, a kaleidoscope of sweet and savory aromas wafting through a chill fall breeze….ah, if that ain’t living…
