2020 has been a crazy year, hasn’t it? Not a bad year, though, really. The LSU Tigers football team won the National Championship in January.
Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has stated that Louisiana will be into Phase One of the state’s reopening process, and that the stay-at-home order will end. Governor Edwards said ““Because of the Stay at Home order, Louisianans were able to dramatically improve our trajectory, reduce the number of new cases, keep our health care system from being overrun and save lives. It is because of this hard work that I, in consultation with public health experts and business and industry leaders, feel confident that all across the state we can move forward with entering into Phase One.” What does Phase One mean? I’m hoping that fans can be at Tiger Stadium to cheer on the defending National Champions LSU Tigers football team. It’s one of those wait-and-see deals, though. In the meantime, as your Louisiana GeauxVernor, I say “Geaux Safely” this summer.
