Cooler Days, Cool Events

The weekend was a just hot enough to be a worthy of a fond farewell to summer.   The quick-change from muggy stillness to chilly rainfall may well put many of us in a higher-activity mode, as preparations for the upcoming holidays are pretty much upon us.   Good thing too, because if cooler temps invigorate you, there’s plenty on the way to get active for!  The Revel and Prize Fest were just getting us warmed up.  Job hunters, dress in your Sunday-Best and bring a fresh resume to the Alpha Media Job Fair at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bossier City this Wednesday from 10-1. Did you get out and vote early?  If not, do it this Saturday! This Saturday is also the Susan G Komen walk, and Great Raft’s Anniversary Ramble.  There might be some interest in a certain college football matchup that day too?  The State Fair is on the way beginning the 24th, and the Aseana Foundation presents another Autumn Festival on the 26th.  Of course we’re most psyched about our very own 35th Anniversary Birthday Blast at Flying Heart Brewing on the 27th!  Check in with the Gig-Guide at our website for more on these and other area happenings, and keep rockin, with The Home of Rock-N-Roll, 98 Rocks!
