Building Up Steam

Finally picking up the pace although we’re already eight days into 2019.  The milder weather may have something to do with it.  As I write this the skies are clearing and the temps are in the mid-60’s, a far cry from the situation last January when I slipped back into the morning slot, and found those sub-freezing temps very unattractive. especially before the sun came up.  Better now, and it may be Thursday evening before we see more rain, so get out and enjoy some Southern Winter Sunshine! (Could be the name of a band.  Maybe a country-chick band, but still…)

Speaking of bands, congrats to Janice Franklin and hubby, winner of the V.I.P. “Spaced Oddity” photo contest for the Symphony Concert this Saturday at The Strand Theater.  You can still get good seats, but don’t wait too much longer!  Here’s David, whom I’m sure will be there in spirit.
