Why is it always so windy in March?

March can be windy for a few different reasons, depending on where you are located. In many parts of the world, March is a transitional month between winter and spring, and this can contribute to windy conditions.

One reason for this is that as the weather starts to warm up, the temperature difference between the land and the ocean can create a pressure gradient, which can lead to stronger winds. Additionally, as the sun becomes higher in the sky, it heats the land more quickly than the water, causing the air to rise and cooler air to flow in to take its place, resulting in wind.

In some areas, March can also be a time when cold air masses from the north clash with warmer air masses from the south, leading to strong winds and stormy conditions.

Overall, the combination of changing temperatures and pressure systems during this transitional month can contribute to windy conditions.
