Weekend Is Cookin’

It’s 90 in the shade as I write this, just past eleven o’clock on Friday morning.  Feels like 99.  Looks like Saturday and Sunday will be the same deal.  I’ll keep to my usual pre-sunrise bike ride ritual when the heat is not as daunting.   Getting the garden patch in shape for some fall veggies has begun. but only for a few hours early, or later in the afternoon.  Good weekend to stay in and cool.  We’ve been thinking about a couple movies we want to see, could be a good weekend for that.  Maybe dinner and refreshing beverages. No shortage of new restaurants we haven’t tried yet. Hit some nightspots for live music?  Plus there’s “Geek’d Con” and “Clear The Shelters” and you can even build your own puppet!   Whatever you do, avoid getting overheated, and keep the crisp and cool sounds of 98 Rocks nearby!
