We spent Thanksgiving week camped just a dozen or so footsteps from the waters of Lake Claiborne, so today I decided to share a few pics of the often foggy lake.  Spending a week kayaking, fishing, hiking and biking along the lake and among trees starting to show their full autumn coloration was a serene set-up for the Holiday frenzy that now begins.  So take a deep breath and brace yourself for the hustle and bustle, with some soothing images from inside one of our favorite Louisiana State Parks.

The fog was dense most mornings.

C’mon fish!
