“The machine of a dream. Such a clean machine.” (line from “I’m In Love With My Car” – Queen). I’ve owned several different types of RVs over the years, but the one that I have now, was the first one that I’ve purchased brand new (in 2016). My wife calls the motorhome “Tom’s gym”, because it’s how I get a workout – keeping the coach in tip-top shape. After 20+ years of RVing, I’ve always liked to do as much cleaning and repairs as I can, myself. I like the challenge, I guess? When I’m stumped, or need expert service, I’ve always made an appointment to take it into Bayou Outdoor RV Service, which is an easy one mile drive from where I store the Tom’sMaHauL motorhome. I’ve become friends with some of the Bayou RV technicians, and when I’m picking up Da’ Bus (aka Tom’sMaHauL motorhome) & they share some of their knowledge, I pay attention. Now, a few evenings of listening to Gary on 98Rocks, while in the the Park n Place rv wash bay cleaning the Tom’sMaHauL motorhome is in order, to prepare for many area journeys this fall and winter. Some RV parks do not permit the cleaning of RVs at their locations, though some parks allow for cleaning bugs off of the front with “bucket washing”. The method that I currently use to clean the Tom’sMaHaul, from top to bottom & front to back, can be found here in the TomsMaHauL.com “Projects” section HERE.
