Senate Passes Coronavirus Bill
  • As expected, the Senate on Wednesday passed a coronavirus bill that provides 14 days of sick leave, unemployment benefits and free testing for U.S. residents.
  • The legislation, which was created in the House, passed 90-8 after Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said it has “real shortcomings” but urged senators to “gag and vote for it anyway.” The bill next heads to the Oval Office, where President Donald Trump is expected to sign off on it.
  • Has your income been affected by the coronavirus pandemic? Is two weeks of sick leave enough?
