Pool Time

A 98Rocks fan, shared a photo of my time at the Fernbrook salt water pool near Longview.  The temperature was 95 degrees, and I heard one of the folks around the pool say that the heat index was 104.  I don’t pay much attention to head index in the summer, as much as I do the wind chill factor in the winter.  We’ve enjoyed ourselves, after arriving at our RV spot, as the office workers were glad to see us return.  We’ll probably get some pool time in again today, before going to an early dinner in Longview.  Tonight, we’re planning to stop in at the Lone Star Ice House to see Toby, Mike & the rest of the band Teazur.  If you’re ever over this way, it’s worth a stop in nearby Kilgore, to see the Texas Broadcast Museum.  You can read about it, in one of my previous blogs HERE  In this photo, it looks like the studios that I worked at, when I started out in radio…
