Center yourself in a cool space, and contemplate the mysteries of these Summer-themed Haiku’s, from a guy who has had way too much exposure to the Sun!
Sun bakes the pavement
The asphalt starts to blister
My flip-flops might melt!
Air conditioner
with a thunking it begins
hope the grid holds up.
Parked all day in rays
interior blazing hot
vinyl seats fry tush!
Sunrise driving East
colorful scheme beams brightly
Damn. Shades back at home.
Childhood melodies
I hear carried on the wind
It’s the ice cream man!
