Pics From the Patch

Again this year I’ve had a few requests from my green-thumb friends to share some shots of the progress of my little spot.  Doesn’t take too much space to make many a tasty salad, but a wet Spring has kept me hard at work controlling the weeds.  Birds help keep down the pests, as do lizards and pest eating bugs like mantises (or would it be manti?).  Regardless of my yield in the end, there’s always enough when Shelley calls, “Hey, got a cucumber or something out there ready to pick?  I’m making a salad.”   Any gardener will tell you, that’s the biggest payoff of all!  Here are the pics, keep growin’!
