Gearin’ up for the Shreveport Mardi Gras Parades
Photo of Tom & sons, at last year’s Krewe of Highland Mardi Gras Parade. We’re looking forward to the Mardi Gras parades in the 98Rocks listening area, covering the entire ArkLaTex. Last year, I thought that I was incognito, as you see in the photo, but Randy James recognized me, as he was the king at the top of the float that he was on. Randy, somehow, picked me out of the huge crowd, and yelled my name. Then, some of his specialty beads landed right at my boots. Excellent throw, Randy! This year, I’ll plan to attend the Krewe of Highland Mardi Gras Parade again, which goes by, just a block from my son’s house. I’m sure we’ll grill, along with Sean’s crawfish boil, and I’ll, thoroughly, enjoy hanging out with the young friends, like last time. They’re a great group of young folks. I’m glad that they like having ol’ Tom around, as often as they do. It has me thinking, that I still “got it”. I’m still “cool” and “hip”.
