For The Birds?
Are you one of those folks who find the changing from daylight-savings to standard time to be for the birds? I could do without it. Doesn’t bother me much in the morning, as I have an “internal-alarm” that usually activates at around three hours ahead of the sunrise, regardless of what the clock indicates. Same time the dog needs to stretch and the cat wants to go out and prowl. It’s always totally dark anyway, and I’m usually well into my workday before I step out of the studio and notice it’s daylight. Now sunset earlier in the evening I’m not a big fan of, mostly because darkness tends to bring on my pre-bedtime drowsiness. I mean, it’s hard for me to stay awake long past 9pm in the Summer. When the Sun is sinking at 5:20 I might be out shortly after dinner! The again, a cool Fall night under the glow of the patio party-lights, with the crackle of sweet-smelling pinion pine in the fire-pit, and a grill sizzling some surf & turf for two might just keep me from nodding off all that early! Love it or hate it, we’ve no choice but to adapt, for now anyway. Make it a great day either way, and keep on Rockin’!
P.S.-Check the batteries in your smoke/CO detectors. (Thanks Bonnie!)
Maybe put a little something out for the birds or other stray visitors that may come your way….
