Doors Of Holiday Perception

Before sunup Monday, I enlisted the help of Wonderful Wife Shelley, to take on the creation of my entry into our Alpha Shreveport Door Decorating Contest!  Those who dare to undertake the adorning of their individual portal have a chance at many valuable prizes.  Prizes or not, I’d get involved just to show that ol’ Holiday Cheer, and brighten this joint up a bit!  Of thirty-something participants, only a handful have completed their artwork.  All quite impressive.  Judging is Monday morning, and I’ll check back with the winning results.  Maybe this little glimpse into some simple childhood treasures will garner a vote or two.  In any event, it hides a few nasty gashes on that door!
