Bon Truong always knew his lucky lotto numbers would eventually pay off, but he probably didn’t realize how long it would take.
The Edmonton, Alberta man won $60 million ($45M USD) playing the LOTTO MAX back in October, hitting it big from the same combination that he’s been using for two decades.
Interestingly, Truong sat on his winning ticket for 10 months, admitting, “I realized it’s going to change a lot of things and I wanted to make sure we were all ready and prepared for those changes.”
According to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, the prize is tied for the largest ever in the province.
