Bands of the Eighties Week: AC/DC
Continuing my theme, and hump day brings me to AC/DC. The loudest concert I have ever been to. The coolest bunch of Aussies this side of Crocodile Dundee, and the soundtrack of my High School years.
The band started out in the 70’s and survived the death of their lead singer. Ac/DC put out some of the most iconic rock anthems, and continues to be relevant after more than 40 years.
AC/DC is one of the few bands that I actually have never had the chance to meet. I have seen them in concert, once in Shreveport and a few more times in Dallas, and they are one of the few bands that I will always go to see if I get the chance.
