1st Rocktober Weekend!

The most Rockin’ month of the year arrives Saturday, and some cool fall weather to go with it!  Perfect for an afternoon hike in the woods, or partying-down at one of many bigger coming events.  The Red River Revel begins it’s run, and if you listen to 98 Rocks Friday morning you’ll have a chance to call and win some free admission tickets for all the arts, foods music and overall vibes that have made it a regional favorite for 46 years.  Rocktober also heralds the arrival of the East Texas Burn Run benefit in Jefferson, beginning the 7th, and another awesome Prize Fest, with two huge weekends of entertainment.  It’s food, it’s movies, it’s music and fashion and an event you don’t want to miss.  The Aseana Autumn Fest is in its ninth year at the Asian gardens in Shreveport, and one of my favorite fall-weather hangs.  Before we wrap up the month and commence the trick-or-treating, we welcome the Louisiana State Fair, starting a two week run on Rocktober 27th.  In between these events you’ll find plenty more to do and see, with just one stop right here at our website!  Here is where you’ll find the Gig Guide, with links to more on all the stuff I just mentioned: https://www.98rocks.fm/events/category/gig-guide-events/
