I walked into the studio, and there was a Coke bottle with my name on it, and another with the 98Rocks call letters, as well as a Coca Cola shirt. I told Bobby that I was … “Somebody”, today, I suppose? It’s National Have a Coke Day, as you’ve seen posted at 98Rocks on Facebook. Thanks to the local Coca Cola workers, working with our lady at the station (Rasheeda), providing staff with, personalized, Coca Cola stuff today. My grandfather worked 30 years with the Coca Cola company. He passed away in ’72, but he was a Coca Cola painter, and painted signs all over the region, before they started having the premade signs like they do now. I lived with my grandparents from the time that I was born, until I was 4 or 5, and my Grandfather took me on some his travels, to paint Coca Cola signs at businesses and other places. During that time, there were plenty of those 6 & 1/2 ounce Coca Colas in the house. Now, you can learn more about Coca Cola being used for cooking good food, and other ideas, that include Coke.
