Friends & family, cheering on the Saints!  Superbowl bound?  Hope so.  Last Sunday, my son, Justin, and his new wife, Regan, asked family & friends to join them, to cheer on the Saints.  Some of the family drank Abita and Great Raft beers, ate burgers, as the whole place got LOUD, during that exciting Saints/Panthers game.  I enjoyed hearing the post-game show on 98Rocks with Bobby Hebert (the Cajun Cannon)!  The Cajun Cannon sounded drunk…. with JOY!  I’m betting that family will meet up again in Shreveport this Sunday afternoon, to cheer on the Saints over the Vikings.  We’ll meet at the same place, the same table, eat the same type of burgers, they’ll drink the same beer selections, and I’ll be wearing the same Saints good-luck cap, and we’ll hope for a victory.  Call us superstitious, but we’ll do, EXACTLY, as we did last Sunday, because it appeared to have helped.  IF the Saints win, and IF the Falcons beat the Eagles in Philly, that would mean that the NFC Championship game would be held in the Superdome (with a LOUD crowd to help the Saints make it to the Superbowl… AGAIN).
