If that picture doesn’t inspire a yawn, what will?  That lucky rescue pup is our beloved Mocha, caught snoozing during a recent camping trip.  After my first week back to work at 6am,  I can relate to a nice nap…but maybe not on a concrete slab.  Mocha can make herself comfortable almost anywhere, as long she’s got a full belly, and there are no squirrels around.  For me, a little extra heaviness on the eyelids is an okay exchange for wakin’-up before the sun to play the rock-n-roll for the most rockin’ city in the Nation!   I hope you get to be as lazy as a dog this weekend, if you want to.  Or run and play like a puppy in the park, whatever suits you.  It’s your time, use it to do your thing.  If you’re off Monday, maybe give a nod skyward for MLK, at the very least.  Enjoy, and I’ll holla at you on the radio next week.  Speaking of “puppies in the park,” by the way, Alpha Media and the Town of Benton will present “Poochamania!” this year on Saturday April 14th.  More details to come on a day in the park for dogs and their humans to play, eat,  shop and maybe even adopt a four-legger who’d love to come home with you.  Here’s a picture from the event last year we called “Pawchella!”
